Playa Avellanas is a beautiful beach located in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. There is no official website for the beach, but it is open to the public all day, every day, free of charge.
In the surrounding area, you can visit the Las Baulas National Marine Park, which is open from 8am-4pm daily and costs $10 for adults and $5 for children. You can also go horseback riding, surfing, or take a nature tour of the mangroves.
